Tea Cups and Sparkling Lights

The final full day in NYC offered a lovely close to a whirlwind trip.  I met some girlfriends for a little tea party at Alice’s Tea Cup.  It was BA-NA-NAS!  I had a delicious cup of  Caramel Chocolate Tea with a banana cranberry scone.  It was quite tasty! Super Yum.

I relaxed at the hotel since the weather was rainy and windy.  It was nice to have a quiet afternoon.  Parker arrived for dinner and we had a quaint dinner at a family owned Italian restaurant.   Then hopped on the subway to go see the Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center.  People were everywhere milling around the famous landmark.   I now have fulfilled my list of things to do in NYC.   Here is a peek at my last day.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9zguTGGZPSM

Now, I have a new list.  Visit Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty.  Shop in Soho.  Visit Fashion Ave.  Tour the Guggenheim.  Attend a Broadway show. See live music in the Village.  It looks like we will be going again in 2011 with Isabella so it will be fun to take her around the city.   The truth is Mommy Loved New York City at Christmas time.  It is spectacular.
